Surprise!

We flew to North Carolina on Monday night for our anatomy scan on Tuesday morning. We were meeting Katie and a few family members at a local restaurant. We walked in to see a cake, balloons, gifts and people yelling, "Surprise!" I was completely shocked! Katie had invited her friends and family to shower our sweet baby boy. We were in awe of Katie for planning this for us and so thankful to everyone who came to celebrate Graham.

So I was completely surprised about the shower but I really couldn't hold back my tears when I saw how much Graham had grown since his last appointment. Katie has sent frequent belly pictures but there's nothing like seeing him in person. I have always dreamed of having a belly like that and even though I will never experience it for myself, seeing him growing so big gave me so much joy. I wish I could upload the video of me getting surprised and seeing her belly but I'm too lazy to figure out how to do it. These pictures will have to do!

The next day was our 21 week anatomy scan. Graham is hanging out very low inside Katie so her doctor wasn't able to get any good pictures of his face but was able to measure everything. He was perfect and she said he was right on track! Although we were disappointed that we couldn't really see his sweet face again, we will always be thankful for a healthy growing boy! Thank You Lord for allowing him to develop just as he should and protecting him. We are so ready to meet you Graham. May can't get here fast enough buddy.
